Original place in Ames where you can get very good crepes. They have savory and sweet options and also a couple of vegan ones. There’re nice tables outdoors to stay if the day is nice and some other indoors with a particular atmosphere. Really recommended option.

My husband and I enjoyed their crepes and drinks on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We loved all of them. Their latte was the best one I had in town! (But I hope they get more milk options, such as low fat or 2%.) And crepes.. Oh my God, you will come back for more! You just have to try them!

Unexpected gem in north Ames: an unpretentious hipster cafe with excellent vegan and gluten free options, plus delicious coffee and homemade syrups. I'd given up on ever eating crepes again until I found Lockwood, and now their sweet and savory crepes are a staple. Also love the chill atmosphere and myriad plants. Definitely worth the visit. Both dine in and take out are great options.

I wish there was a place like this where I live in Pennsylvania. Wonderful food, perfectly made Italian sodas, kind staff, and the best vibes. Lockwood has the kind of culture and community that most places lack. A little free library out front, free pantry items, bathrooms stocked with diapers and sanitary items, a shed full of clothes and goods available to all, a community fridge... A gem.

I had an amazing experience! They offer savory and sweet crepes, but a special crepe as well! The service was great they are very friendly. They showcase local art and use local coffee from Morning Bell. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The best crepes in Ames, and a great coffee shop as well! Very unique location and interior, with outdoor seating for nice mornings too. Gets very busy on the weekends around 10, so be ready to wait for seating, food, and coffee - its worth the time!
